Dr Dan Gosling
Dan graduated from the University of Nottingham medical school with honours in 2011. He undertook general ophthalmology training in Sheffield, UK, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology. He had ophthalmology specialist training in Sheffield, with special interest in cataract and glaucoma surgery, before working as a consultant ophthalmologist in Yorkshire. The opportunity of an ‘overseas’ glaucoma fellowship in Auckland, led Dan to move here with his family in 2020.
In 2022 he joined Milford Eye Clinic, having settled in Auckland. He provides up-to-date, expert diagnosis and treatment of cataract and glaucoma diseases, including treatment with laser and surgery. He can offer consultations on general or urgent eye problems. Dan also works within the public service as a consultant ophthalmologist at Greenlane Clinical Centre and Whangarei Hospital.
Dan consults privately at Milford on a Monday and Wednesday, and at the Orewa and Warkworth branches on alternating Wednesday mornings.
